Old Man, new tricks

I am a 55 year old husband and father. I made a decision a few years ago to keep learning new things. I was inspired by a long time friend of mine who's 45 year old buckskin mittens could no longer be repaired. I looked at my wifes HD sewing machine and decided I was going to learn how to use it. After watching a few dozen videos on YT and struggling to turn the DIY patterns and techniques into something of fashion or function, I stumbled on Darling Leather. Wow, these patterns and tutorials are hands down the BEST and EASIEST to use. I've now made 15 pairs of Leather and Fur mittens. Thank-You Rebecca.
