My industrial fur sewing machine is a big part of my sewing team! This machine is made just for sewing fur, and is different than traditional sewing machines because the needle moves back and forth towards the user instead of up and down!
Juki LU 563
My Juki is an industrial leather sewing machine, it has a walking foot with needle feed which is needed for sewing materials with a lot of 'drag' like leather. I use this machine for leather sewing, and for other thick materials.
Babylock Katherine
My Babylock is a very nice home-grade sewing machine. I use it for all of my general fabric sewing, like linings.

Having never sewed before trying this, the tutorial and pattern layouts made things very simple for a beginner. I've now produced a few beautiful looking hats. I absolutely recommend doing a practice hat before working with real fur. Would recommend to anyone, regardless of skill!

I trapped my first beavers this year and wanted to use them for a good use, but i have very little experience with sewing. This PDF and video are excellent beginner level materials. I made a Mock up first as suggested and it turned out terrific so now I am moving forward with the real beaver fur and everything is working as planned. And there is a great support community on FB as well who answered the additional questions I had. I am very satisfied! Thank you!!
