I've been getting a lot of questions about how to setup the MC-202 now that a number of people are getting their orders in from Alibaba. I'm planning on making a video setup & use guide eventually, but in the meantime, here's a few pictures and tips to help with setup. It's not great, but it's better than nothing, and it's what I have time for at the moment 😆. (The magnetic light is not included if you ordered directly from Alibaba.)

Note that the table legs are set as far to the right as possible under the table top. You'll have a set of connector rods to connect the left pedal and the motor, and a chain to connect the right pedal and the presser-disc lever. I use cables instead, because that's what I prefer.
Once you have the table set up, and the machine head bolted on, you'll need about 8oz of sewing machine oil to pour i n the machine head. Unscrew the four screws on the top of the head, pry off the top plate, lift off the plastic distributor and pour in oil until it's between the red lines on the viewing window at the bottom side (or front) of the head, it takes about 8 oz.
There should be a manual in the machine head box that shows where to oil the presser discs.
Adjust the bolts on the motor rod to angle the motor forward to get the belt on the motor pulley and the machine pulley. Then tighten it down to tension the belt.
The motor will need to be reversed, there should be a one-page manual in the motor box that tells how to reverse the motor (I attached a picture of that).

To prevent the stitch from unraveling when you're taking it off the machine, the thread loop has to stay around the looper foot until the thread is cut/broken. If the thread loop slips off the foot, the stitch is not locked and will unravel. To do that, make sure you're pulling your project to the right when you're taking it off the machine, and keeping tension on the thread the whole time.
For removing the needle, there is a small screw with an alan head on the right side base of the needle. Loosen that and you can change the needle. When you put in a new needle, make sure the long groove on the needle is facing down.
